Fairy Tail Episode 278 Release Date

This past weekend, the staff of Fairy Tail held a fan event called the Dragon King Festival. Named after an event in the manga, this gathering included fan merchandise, guest appearances by voice actors and series creator Hiro Mashima himself, and a few very exciting announcements for Fairy Tail fans. It has been confirmed that Fairy Tail is getting another movie. Free music ringtones for iphone. This will be the second movie, after 2012’s ‘Phoenix Priestess.’ A teaser image for the movie was released, featuring the dragon slayer Natsu Dragneel half-formed into a dragon. This set fans ablaze with excitement and theories, as it was revealed as a plot point some time ago that dragon slayers, if their magic is used too excessively, can turn into dragons themselves. While most anime movies do not contain anything important to the series’ plot, this movie will clearly have some relevance, even in the smallest of ways, to Fairy Tail’s main plotline. We will also be blessed with another OVA – original video animation.

This is the seventh OVA for Fairy Tail, and the third to be based on actual material. This OVA will be adapting the bonus chapter “Penalty Game,” which takes place after the Grand Magic Games, chronologically. Mashima also spoke a bit about the next anime arc.

Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine announced that a second anime film of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail manga has been green-lit.

The Tartarus arc was popular along readers, albeit a bit dark and depressing. A sneak peek at some of the animation was revealed, along with some information. Anime staff are always looking for extra bits to pad the story and make it longer, but this time they’ll be taking bits and pieces that were supposed to happen in the manga, but time and space ran out and they had to be cut. Mashima mentioned three extra villains and a mini storyline that pertained to character favourite Laxus Dreyar, so it’s very possible the anime will have more Laxus – not that anyone will ever complain about more Laxus. The manga also received several stunning revelations in the latest two chapters. For the last five weeks, two chapters have been released at a time.

All this has been to culminate an incredible ending for the most recent mini-arc, capping it off with some major plot twists. No spoilers, but it involves some unexpected family relations and areintroduction to a character, of sorts. It’s been an amazing few weeks for Fairy Tail fans, and though next week we’ll be back to the usual chapter-a-week pace, things will only be getting crazier from here on out. Awesome they’re doing another movie and adding even more to the anime.

I actually just started reading the manga so I have a long way to go haha but I’ll get there. I kind of.read already what the revelation was at the end of the recent chapter so spoiled that for myself, but can’t wait til it’s adapted to the anime. I’m probably just gonna read the manga along with the anime, don’t wanna read ahead of it then I’ll just be impatient for the next arc. Can’t believe I missed this news.

Thanks for posting this, it made my day. All I heard is rumors that Mashima and the other studio he was working with on the second season of Fairy Tail had a fallout and he wasn’t as involved before, and for new season will do it right by having more direction on the anime itself. Besides the fact that Fairy Tail Dragon Cry is coming in May most likely since he finally announced its title, which means that the anime won’t return until Fall the earliest of this year in order to accommodate for the movie since it’ll have more direct ties into the manga this time than Phoenix Priestess did, which is another reason for the delay.

Lastly, they obviously don’t want anime to catch up to the manga so yes, I’m well aware that they didn’t wanna stop it suddenly especially where it left off but know some things had to be done so that things went nicely; especially since as it is the second season wasn’t meeting Mashima’s standards and whatnot. So doesn’t escape me it wasn’t an easy decision; unless I missed something do care to tell me what I overlooked because as everyone knows, waiting for anime to returns as a manga continues to finish before the anime, sucks even if you keep up with the story that way. Which I’ve been doing by reading the Fairy Tail manga and the manga is better, simply because there’s censorship in the anime.

If they can remove the censorship so it’s minimal to none that it isn’t even noticeable or vastly different to a manga reader and be truer to the material then they’ll do well they’ll have to, Mashima can’t keep cutting corners just to get more mass appeal on the anime even if it means a higher TV rating and/or later time slot. That’s all I’ll say on that, anime should only come when its ready hoping the movie sets up that comeback. Anime is better in sense that the action and everything comes alive but manga is the source material so it’ll always have edge in some capacity over anime its more visceral. Then you’re in luck: Seven Deadly Sins second season will come in more than a week from now not much of a wait til then. One Piece starts off very slow so I understand that; it’s not til later that things pick up.

Yes here are some anime: Seraph of the End, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Will have to look and see of any others that may be more similar but check out those for now you’ll like at least a few if not maybe all of them listed. Seraph of the End is shortest so start with that one. As I said before not as many have much in common with Fairy Tail or even Seven Deadly Sins though you may find more if you generalize down to genre or style etc. These are closest anime that you’ll find to them for now. And unfortunately no news on release date for the movie or for the anime yet. That information most likely won’t come until March or April at least so at least another month before any news.
